Dicas para escolher o travesseiro ideal

Um travesseiro ruim pode ser responsável por dores de cabeça, dores na coluna cervical, adormecimento dos braços e mãos e também pela insônia.

A melhor posição para dormir é de lado. O travesseiro deve apoiar a curva lateral do pescoço enquanto sustenta a cabeça, pescoço e coluna, que deve ficar alinhada. Para quem dorme de costas, o travesseiro deve apoiar a curva lateral do pescoço, preservando-o durante a noite enquanto sustenta cabeça, pescoço e ombros. Dormir de bruços não é recomendado, porque pode gerar uma contratura muscular e perda da curva da cervical.

E quando é a hora de trocar? A duração de um travesseiro gira em torno de dois a quatro anos. Esse período depende do tipo de travesseiro. Os de poliéster duram um pouco menos enquanto os de látex têm maior duração.
